Wealth manager Universum Wealth Ltd has achieved authorisation from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), effective from 23 May 2026.
The London-based firm is a wealth manager offering global multi-asset portfolios, specialist equity portfolios, private markets, and segregated mandates. It holds permissions related to investment. It was established in April 2020 and was previously an appointed representative of Thornbridge Investment Management.
Christopher Welsh holds the SMF16 Compliance Oversight, SMF17 Money Laundering Reporting Officer, and SMF1 Chief Executive roles. He is Managing Partner and was previously CEO of the Mako Group, following earlier roles at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.
Jonathan Sieff holds the SMF3 Executive Director role. He is Managing Partner and Investment Committee Chairman, and previously served as CEO of Close Brothers Asset Management, Principle Capital, and Prescient Wealth Management, and as Joint CEO of Nedbank Private Bank.
Christopher Gunter also holds the SMF3 Executive Director role.
