Treasury platform Preservoir Ltd has achieved authorisation from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), effective from 13 July 2026.
The Northern Ireland-based fintech was founded in 2025 and is building treasury infrastructure for UK businesses. Its platform provides access to UK Treasury Bills and tools for managing cash positions, maturities, and transactions. Preservoir is authorised as a UK MiFID firm and has investment-related permissions.
Aaron Carey is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. He holds the SMF1 Chief Executive, SMF9 Chair of the Governing Body, SMF16 Compliance Oversight, and SMF17 Money Laundering Reporting Officer roles. Before founding Preservoir, he worked in investment management at Julius Baer and Evelyn Partners.
Donagh Carey is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer and holds the SMF3 Executive Director role. He previously co-founded Medical AI Solutions, after software development roles at OwnSpace and The Lava Group.
